Fire on Crown Princess cruise ship in Ionian sea

Crown Princess cruises   The luxury cruise ship Crown Princess was caught on fire on 3 nautical miles Eastern of Antipaxos island. The fire started in one of the passenger cabins and was automatically extinguished by the fire fighting system. The accident happened in Ionian sea, during a cruise between the ports Corfu and Piraeus. The cruise ship Crown Princess suffered slight damages and after inspection of the Katakolo port authorities, Crown Princess continued the voyage to the final destination. The vessel was operating on cruise with 3325 passengers on board and none of them are injured. The reason for the fire was wrong usage of electrical tools in the cabin by one of the guests.
