More Problems for Carnival Vessel With There New Ship

Industry giant Carnival is facing more complaints today in the wake of a marred relaunch of one of its older ships.

The 3,006-passenger Carnival Sunshine, which set sail today for the first time since a two-and-a-half month, $155 million overhaul in dry dock, is experiencing problems with some cabins as well as the closure of elements of its top decks because of unfinished work, according to passengers on the vessel.

Cargo Ship To Carry Rocket for Test Launch

A company contracted by NASA to deliver supplies to the International Space Station has successfully launched a rocket in a test of its ability to send a cargo ship aloft.

The unmanned Antares rocket blasted off Sunday from Wallops Island on Virginia’s Eastern Shore. About 10 minutes after the launch, Orbital Sciences Corp. of Dulles declared the test a success after observing a practice payload reach orbit and safely separate from the rocket.
