Cargo ship ran aground in Scotland

Coastal Isle ship   The cargo ship Coastal Isle went aground in rocks one nautical miles off Bute, Scotland. The ship was proceeding through the Great Crumbae, when due to navigation error of the duty officer, the ship struck rocks. The vessel Coastal Isle sent distress signal to the Clyde Coastguard about the accident. The coast guards monitored the situation of the vessel before arriving of the tugs. The ship has no serious damages of the hull, and was able to continue the voyage to Greenock, where will have full inspection. There are no injured seamen and no pollution in the vicinity of the accident. The cargo ship was operating fully loaded with cargo from Belfast to Greenock. The weather in the area was good, the sea was calm and only the low concentration of the duty officer caused this incident.
