The container ship Northern Trust was sold to Chinese shipowner

Northern Trust ship   The container ship Northern Trust was sold to new Chinese shipowner at the price of 6.0 million USD. The cargo ship was part from the fleet of the German company Schluter Karl Reederei, which had serious plans for renovation and improvement of the fleet, making it more flexible and profitable. The new owners of the vessel is a Chinese company, which name is still not announced. The vessel has capacity for 3,300 TEU and good condition, which will allow it to enter in service after the delivery. The container ship Northern Trust was built in 1993 by Hyundai Heavy Industries in their shipyard in Ulsan, South Korea. The ship is operating under the flag of Liberia and registered in Germanischer Lloyd. The vessel was previously owned by CMA CGM and Cosco, but a few years ago was sold to the German company Schluter Karl Reederei. Th previous names of the ship were Cosco Bremerhaven, Cosco Norfolk, Choyang Phoenix and Ville De Lyra.
