Fishing ship sank in Denmark

Ri 220 Actinia   The fishing ship Ri 220 Actinia sank near Denmark in North Sea. The vessel got engine failure, which caused blackout. The long continued problem in the engineering headed the ship on beam against the waves, which arouse water ingress in the engine room. The pump for exhaustion of the water, did not started and the fishing vessel Ri 220 Actinia quickly lost stability and turned over after a few minutes. The crew on board escaped from the vessel on life raft, which was later picked from the rescuers. There are no seriously injured people from the crew members and no pollution, which was sighted in the position of the accident.

   The fishing ship Ri 220 Actinia is operating under the flag of Denmark. The vessel has length of 17.00 meters and beam of 4.00 meters. Ri 220 Actinia was built in 1982 in Denmark, but in spite of this fact the vessel was in very good condition, passing all the the required inspections for coastal vessel.
