Missing seaman from motor vessel Gallia

Gallia ship   The motor vessel Gallia send a distress signal for missing seaman , during a voyage between the Cyprus port Limassol and the Croatian port Trieste. The ship reported about missing crew member in the region southwest of Palagruza. The missing person was Croatian seaman and most probably fell over board. The region of the accident is situated in Croatian waters, close to the maritime border with Italy. In the search and rescue operations are engaged the Coast Guard vessel “Andrija Mohorovicic” and some Italian ships, aircrafts and helicopters. The cargo ship Gallia was carrying containers to the Croatian port Trieste. The local authorities started investigation over the accident and the reason for seaman falling overboard.
